Job Description
Oversee the complete onsite delivery lifecycle of hydroelectric projects, including civil work, mechanical erection, testing and commissioning. The Site Manager acts as the principal onsite authority, coordinating employees, contractors, resources and stakeholders while maintaining project schedules, technical quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
• Direct all site-construction and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate civil, mechanical and electrical work packages.
• Manage personnel, subcontractors, equipment and site resources.
• Monitor project milestones, costs, quality and schedules.
• Enforce GE Vernova and customer safety requirements.
• Lead site meetings and communicate progress, risks and corrective actions.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Resolve technical and operational issues affecting site delivery.
Eligibility
• Relevant engineering, construction or technical education.
• Significant experience managing large power-generation or infrastructure sites.
• Experience with mechanical erection and equipment commissioning.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary employees and contractors.
• Willingness to work at assigned hydroelectric project locations and, when necessary, on night shifts.
• Must be legally authorised to work in the United States.
