Job Description
The Specialist Industrial Engineering supports JetBlue’s Operations Strategy and Engineering team. The position uses field observations, time studies, operational data and process analysis to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, standardization, reliability and the customer experience.
Responsibilities
• Conduct field observations, work-measurement studies and operational time studies.
• Analyze processes, capacity, productivity and operational performance.
• Develop dashboards, analytical tools, standards and process-flow documentation.
• Identify efficiency and continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Assist stakeholders with implementing approved operational solutions.
• Prepare presentations and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
Eligibility
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Data Analytics or a related subject.
• Competence using Microsoft Excel and data-analysis tools.
• Ability to conduct field studies and communicate analytical findings.
• Available for approximately 10% travel.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
