Job Description
This engineer tests power-conversion, energy-storage and electrification products within a manufacturing environment. The role validates functional and quality requirements, troubleshoots equipment and ensures that testing complies with engineering, safety and customer-acceptance standards.
Responsibilities
• Functionally test inverters, medium-voltage drives and battery-storage products.
• Verify compliance with technical, functional and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot inverters, power stations and associated equipment.
• Identify quality improvements and develop cost-effective testing solutions.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
• Prepare detailed engineering test reports.
• Manage customer factory-acceptance tests.
• Apply IEEE, UL, quality and EHS requirements during testing.
Eligibility
• Engineering education or equivalent experience relevant to manufacturing testing.
• Knowledge of electrical or power-conversion equipment.
• Ability to interpret test procedures and technical requirements.
• Written and spoken English proficiency.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to comply with manufacturing-site safety requirements.
