Job Description
The Vice President leads System Operations, Dispatch, Air Traffic Management, Crew Operations and Crew Planning. The role owns network operational performance and advances predictive, data-driven disruption management.
Responsibilities
• Lead System Operations and Air Traffic Management functions.
• Own safety, completion, punctuality and disruption-recovery performance.
• Maintain the integrity of JetBlue’s operational-control system.
• Lead enterprise response during irregular operations.
• Introduce analytics, data science and AI-enabled decision tools.
• Integrate network planning, scheduling and operational execution.
• Develop senior leaders and high-performing operational teams.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and agency relationships.
Eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or JetBlue’s stated experience substitute.
• Ten years of leadership experience with a Part 121 airline.
• Ten years of combined experience across airline system, airport, technical or flight operations.
• Working knowledge of Crew Services, Dispatch and air-traffic control.
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and emergency-response procedures.
• Available for up to 20% travel and emergency response.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
