Programme Overview
Cranfield's Advanced Materials: Engineering and Industrial Applications MSc develops knowledge of the properties, selection, processing and design of advanced materials.
Students investigate metals, polymers, ceramics, composites, nano and functional materials, additive manufacturing and modern processing technologies.
The programme examines materials applications across mobility, aerospace, energy, manufacturing and other engineering industries.
Sustainability is incorporated through resource efficiency, material selection, manufacturing impacts, recycling and end-of-life considerations.
Students complete taught study together with group and individual industrially relevant projects.
Entry Requirements
Applicants normally require a UK first- or second-class honours degree or equivalent international qualification.
